Remembering Our Guiding Lion: A $200 Pledge to Empower the Girl Child

In Memory of the Late Ln. Yesse Mubangizi

In honor of the late Ln. Yesse Mubangizi, the guiding Lion of Mukono Host, the Lions Club of Mukono Host pledged $200 towards the construction of a girls’ dormitory at Nile High School, Mukono.

The donation was officially announced by Club President, Ln. Mudduse Paul, during his address to members, guests, and the community at the memorial service held at the school.

The event was thoughtfully organized by Ln. Emelda Twongirwe in collaboration with the Nile High School administration, as a heartfelt tribute to the late Lion’s impactful and selfless leadership.

Ln. Yesse Mubangizi’s legacy continues to inspire the spirit of service, dedication, and community upliftment among Lions and all those whose lives he touched.

This contribution reinforces our club’s ongoing commitment to Lionism, promoting education, and supporting the empowerment of the girl child within our community.
