Lions Club of Mukono Host Welcomes New Members and Recognitions During International President’s Visit
Kampala, Uganda – 23rd September 2025: The Lions Club of Mukono Host attended in large numbers the grand dinner organized by Lions Clubs of Uganda, District 411B, to honor the official visit of the International President of Lions Clubs International, Ln A.P. Singh held at Imperial Royale Hotel
During the memorable evening, two new members — Ln Wizeyi Annet and Ln Harriet Kiiza — were officially inducted into the Lions Club of Mukono Host by the International President himself. Their induction marks a milestone for the club as it continues to expand its service footprint in the community.
The event also featured special recognition and appreciation for members who made significant contributions to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). The President of Mukono Host, Ln MJF Paul Mudduse, was honored for his generous contribution of USD 1,100. In addition, Ln Annet Kiseka and Ln Irene Namukhula were acknowledged for their ongoing contributions toward attaining Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) status.
The participation of Mukono Host in this historic event reflects the club’s strong commitment to service, growth, and support for the global vision of Lions Clubs International under the motto “We Serve.”





This was a memorable function, being visited by an International President, it had never happened since Lions Clubs International was started in Uganda in the 1950s
